FWCMANZ is establishing a NZ Cider Day to raise awareness and promote the diversity and quality of New Zealand cider. NZ Cider Day has the potential to become an annual celebration that drives awareness, sales, and appreciation for New Zealand’s cider industry. It falls on the second Saturday of March each year, which is 8th March in 2025.
Cider producers and anyone that sells or serves cider across NZ is encouraged to mark this day by organising cider events, tastings and occasions that draw attention to NZ cider.
